The research problem started from the fundamental question of whether there is a clear impact of Islamic finance activities in increasing the performance of the Islamic Bank using the profitability index.

The purpose of the research is to identify and identify the Islamic Bank's sources of finance, its uses and its role in improving its banking performance. The research concluded with several conclusions, the most important of which is that the finance function (sources and uses) plays a key role in increasing the performance of the Islamic Bank using the profitability index; distinguish it from other traditional banks.

The research reached a number of recommendations, the most important of which is to pay more attention to Islamic banking as an alternative to conventional banking, to intensify banking awareness and to educate customers about the importance of Islamic banking instruments.
