The Contribution of the Elements of Electronic Management in Support of some of the Functions of Human Resources Management

Abstract

This paper deals with the subject of electronic management to show the possibility of benefiting from it in supporting human resources management functions as one of the areas that characterizes the organization under conditions of great competitiveness.


Managers have been practicing their daily functions and tasks in isolation from technological developments in the digital and informational aspects, and today they are facing new challenges that require a new kind of management and performance to enable them to carry out their daily tasks in a digital way that takes into account all kinds of developments and in various fields.


The aim of this research is to establish an intellectual system that connects the concepts of electronic management and human resource management functions that reflect this concept in the surveyed organizations. Electronic administration is a global and local demand to support development in its various forms, as well as activating the role that must appear in society in order to achieve comprehensive development.


In order to achieve the objective of the research, a questionnaire was designed to include (30) paragraphs to collect the initial data from the research sample consisting of (60) individual respondents. In light of this, data were collected, analyzed and hypothesized using the SPSS. The research reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which are:



  1. Human resources management with all its functions and activities has become an important resource in business organizations and plays an important role in achieving competitive advantages.


         



  1. Electronic management is different from traditional management in facilitating and simplifying the methods of product delivery and working to ensure the high quality of these products, in addition to reducing costs at the lowest level.


3 - The results of the study showed a significant effect of the elements of electronic management in the functions of human resources management.


          In the light of that, the following recommendations have been put forward:



  1. The importance of giving sufficient attention to electronic management in all its details and not part of it.

  2. The need to develop a strategy to support the use of electronic management and application in the Organization and work to convert all its work electronically.
