Evaluation of the readiness of the community partnership for Iraqi universities - A proposed model for Erbil Technical University

Abstract

The research aims to determine the role of contemporary higher education institutions in the current environment , which is rich in many of the variables that established overshadowed a new concept of universities as a partner bears the responsibility occurrence of a paradigm shift for the community through its involvement with other institutions working in which various types of government , private , civil society organizations . It came through the provision of ideal framing of the contents of the partnership included a reference to  what the community partnership , and display limitative  that stand in the face of the growth and development of higher education and scientific research.
 The research descriptive approach in the presentation of themes , and built a model representing the elements that determine the readiness of universities to establish a community partnership model was derived his idea of open system theory, and finally came out Find a set of conclusions which " is determined by the readiness of universities to establish a partnership of community in its ability to serve the community through its Faculty members and students , as well as its ability to expand and keep up with scientific specializations rode scientific and technical development in various fields including indicates its potential to make a quantum leap to her and to the participating organizations and allies . "
